We are governed by strict regulations and many drugs that we use require a recent clinical examination of the animal before they can be dispensed. The general policy of our practice is to re-assess an animal requiring repeat prescriptions every 6 months for on-going medications or 12 months for routine parasite treatments. Please note this may vary with each individual case.

Please be aware that the regulations surrounding the dispensing of antibiotics and anti-parasitics has changed, and we can no longer dispense these medications without first giving your pet a physical examination. Once examined, your pet will be able to have up to a year’s worth of antiparasitic treatment (better known as flea and worm prevention). Antibiotics require an examination by your vet on each occasion unless your vet has allowed for a repeat within a set amount of time.
Since the COVID-19 crisis, pressure on supply chains has been unprecedented, this is affecting us too. We therefore ask you to give us as much notice as possible of your requirements, as our orders are not currently guaranteed to be with us within 24-48hrs. as they would normally.
