Recent trip for annual vaccinations went without a hitch - prompt answering of the phone by the receptionist who supplied necessary information and a range of suitable appointment timeslots. The reminder service is great - i receive these via text.Upon arrival at the Vets, was greeted warmly by the receptionist and there was no waiting time. The waiting area has lots of information, leaflets etc which is great for perusing (if you have a wait).The vet herself was lovely and welcoming and did her best to put my cat at ease - super knowledgeable and professional as always.
Rochford Vets is by far the best vets I have ever been to.They are vastly knowledgeable with years of experience and advice and treatment is delivered in a clear and reassuring manner. Nothing is too much trouble and you will feel welcome and cared for the minute you step through the door.I have been through a stressful situation with my dog requiring an operation and other treatments. I don't know what I would have done without Rochford Vets gently guiding me to the right decisions regarding her health. I am so thankful to have found them.I will never take my animals anywhere else.
Brought my two bunnies to be neutered today and the staff looked after them so unbelievably well. A massive Thankyou to all the staff for looking after my two babies especially daniella. They always look after all my bunnies so well when they come into the practice for vaccinations and neutering. Would definitely recommend

Everyone is so lovely here. Very kind and caring. The best thing for me is they are an independent vets, and so you’re not being ripped off as soon as you step in the door. On my recent visit with my cat, all treatment options were discussed thoroughly before being undertaken. And so far, all is looking good. I can strongly recommend this vets, and already do so to any local pet owners that I meet. They’re brilliant!
First time visiting Rochford Vets and the Veterinary Surgeon I saw was absolutely lovely. She was very thorough when examining my dog, treated him with gentle care and explained the diagnosis and cause very clearly. The receptionists were also very friendly and welcoming. It was nice to go back to an independent family run practice, where the main focus is on the animal. I would thoroughly 100% recommend Rochford Vets.
Visited this surgery yesterday for a second opinion on our cat for a lump he developed on his tummy, and what a wonderful experience we had ☺️ Ian was absolutely amazing and caring, and he checked our boy Ludwig thoroughly explaining everything. Luckily, the lump is getting smaller so we were advised to keep an eye on him and return in 3 weeks time, which we are looking forward to, hopefully with even more good news about it. We have found the best place to look after our cat’s health, and would recommend it to anyone 👍🏻

Amazing. Poorly puppy and was seen within a couple of hours of calling. Daniella , the vet, it wonderful. She listens and explains. So very caring. As are all the staff there. The receptionist was wonderful when I called and did her level best to help me. Sterling veterinary practice.

I have used this vets since I was a child, and they really are very friendly and caring. This week we have had a hard time after out cat got run over. But Rochford vets have been absolutely amazing. They managed to save our kitten's leg, they definitely went above and beyond for us and I can't thank everyone enough. Would recommend 100%
I felt compelled to write this review after the incredible experience I had with this vets surgery. Me and my girlfriend have taken our dog here since we brought her in 2018. Never have we had a visit which wasn’t satisfactory. On occasion we have had to pay for investigations, but of course we’re happy to do this as money is far inferior to our gorgeous baby. Unfortunately, my baby had lymphoma and she was put to rest. If it wasn’t for Rochford Vets thorough investigations she would have been left to suffer. I cannot thank this surgery enough. I even received phone calls from the vets after the decision to check in on me and assure me that I had made the right decision. When I have had time to grieve my loss, and decide to get a new pup, they will 100% be attending this surgery. Thank you Ian, Vets and other staff for making my pets short life, a happy one.

It is difficult to articulate how amazing this vets surgery is. On numerous occasions they have been responsible for keeping my dog alive and I cannot express my gratitude to the vets- they always accommodate us and make sure our visits are as enjoyable as possible for both me and my pet ( lots of slobbery kisses and cuddles!). The receptionists are also always delightful and help to portray the overall positive atmosphere of the surgery. recommend 10000 times!😁

All the staff were extremely friendly, caring and efficient, putting myself and Dexter at ease. The welfare of animals really are their passion.
I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you you did for our little growler Tom. He has been unwell for nearly a year and everyone at Rochford Vets has been wonderful with him despite his growling grouchy old man ways!!! Yesterday we said goodbye to Tom and it couldn’t have been more beautiful, allowing us time with him in the garden and letting us comfort him as he went to sleep, You were fantastic, I can’t thank you enough, so professional yet personal. It meant so much to us all how you handled it. It was an incredibly hard day for us all and it was a huge decision to put our little boy to rest, however your empathy and true kindness and compassion helped no end. I know that Tom appreciated everything you did for him too even though he had a funny way of showing it!!!

We were un sure they would be open in these unpredictable times due to covid 19, so really appreciate everything they do to help our loved ones..nothing is too much trouble..and fantastic after care as well..thank you to all of you very very much..
A massive thank you for your help today with our budgie, Splash - we had real trouble finding a vet that would help with a bird and, after losing his little friend yesterday, time was of the essence! Tracey-Ann was very kind and got us an appointment the same morning, and Daniella the vet was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. We weren't sure if Splash would make it but he is looking perkier already - what a lovely vet practice.
Took my mums cat for the first time, although her dog has been before. Then as now the Nurses and reception staff were lovely and friendly, the prices are very competitive and good, caring vets, excellent all-round
Yet again we received a such a warm welcome when we arrived yesterday, one of my dogs is terrified of anything unknown to her.... especially anyone who needs to examine her! But I do have to say, that all of the staff we have met have been absolutely brilliant, the gentle care & thorough attention they give to my dogs, the explanations to me, their knowledge and the affordability is second to none! You also don't feel like you are on a time limit which makes you leave feeling reassured & informed. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
I'd like to say a big thank you to the vet I saw yesterday. She helped make an awful situation bearable. I had to have my beautiful cat Sid put to sleep yesterday. At almost 17, he was the most amazing cat. You were so kind, explaining and supporting me through out. That means so much. Thanks. X
I just heard of the wonderful treatment given by your surgery to a fox left hanging by it's leg for an hour or more after becoming trapped in a garden. I understand that the fee charged was for much less then usual. Your kindness is being shared throughout the UK.
